What's the difference between HTML and XML sitemap?

html is also for the users. xml is more for google

Actually it is a requirement of Google for submissions of sitemap they only allowed XML file.

In my own experiences, you could use XML sitemap as a RSS Feed and submit it also to RSS directories. :)

Html is for User purpose and XHTML is for search engine purpose.

HTML is for user purpose and XML is for search engine purpose. XML sitemap helps search engine to more intelligently crawl a website and keep their results up to date.

html reads by user through webpages, xml read by Google through crawling.

I recommend that you just use an XML sitemap. It isn't that hard ;)
