Do you prefer long or short domains' names?
Can you give any advice for choosing a new domain for my pet's website?

Hi tanya1177,

It seems like we're the only 2 in this forum. :D

Anyway, short domain names are somewhat brandable while long domain names are readable.

Brandable names are good in social bookmarking sites and other community sites. While readable names are good in content sites.

Well, for your pet's website, I would say "petster" but it was taken. What about petsin or petsspace? What type of pet site you are trying to establish by the way?
happy to display nothing here..

I would pick a domain that is relevant to your keywords you will be using. This is a great start if you want good rankings in the search engines down the road.

Try this link http://www.psychicwhois.com/ so you can place in your keywords for your websites and see which domains are available for purchase.

I hope this is helpful
